Plus Size JewelryI have never felt enough attention was given to plus size fashion and that includes plus size jewelry. How disheartening it is to find that perfect watch or choker, only to discover it doesn't fit. I have always tried to make sure that all the jewelry I make or order is adjustable so anyone can wear it! Whether someone has a teeny tiny or a thicker wrist, I make sure my bracelets are adjustable to every size. The only exception is when I use magnetic clasps (which are sooo... nice, I will then custom make those in the perfect size. Of course, you cannot always accommodate everyone, but it's at least worthy of trying. If you take a look in my store, Jewelry Jewelry Online, 
you will notice I started a special page for plus size jewelry although, as I said, most all of my jewelry will fit a plus size or can be adjusted to fit.Although this page focuses mainly on plus size jewelry and watches, I have another website featuring high fashion looks with trendy clothing and accessories in plus sizes. For instance, the belt above only comes in a medium, so I just ordered extensions where they can fit anyone up to a size 6X. These belts are so popular to wear with jeans right now and you can even use them for formal wear. Unfortunately, when you go to order one of these little treasures, they only fit a 28" waist. How disheartening! This is now going to be a thing of the past, if I can help it. If you see an item you like on my website, you can get it in your size. I love leather belts, shoes and purses in leather made with the croc print. Well, I found the cutest croc print belts, also available in genuine leather and lots of beautiful colors are available. Getting back to jewelry, the bracelets below are handmade using alpaca wire and murano glass, shell, bamboo and some of the most beautiful natural gemstones. I think they have such a pretty lacy look to them. There are also necklaces, anklets and earrings made the same way, so you can purchase entire sets to match. And all of it will fit anyone. The necklaces are fairly long already, but if you want them to hang lower, I can put extensions on them as well. Maybe you would like them to fit as a choker. I can do that too! Just shoot me and email and let me know the length you desire. I never charge extra for altering my jewelry because I feel they should come that way to begin with! The most important thing, though, is that we are finding underprivileged communities from around the world and teaching them how to do this artwork. It is so empowering for them to feed and clothe their families while doing projects they really enjoy doing.
I've been searching to see what kinds of unique things they make in other parts of the world. Some of the items I've found are really unique such as the coconut earrings. Below is an example. They are hand carved and irregularly shaped. I think they're sooo... cute!
It can also be a challenge to find a watch to fit. They're usually made in one standard size and that size just doesn't fit everyone. I have some watches made of Swarovski Crystal and sterling silver, but I haven't put them in the store yet. They have three adjustable rings on the ends so they can fit everyone. What I like about them is that you can use them for anything from a belt to a choker and anywhere in-between. I make a cute crochet lariat and do custom orders for those. I never find handmade ethnic jewelry in the lariat style, so I just make them myself. So like I said, email me. Like I said I just love croc print belts. That have such a rich look to them. I was thrilled to find these because they are very reasonable priced, come in a huge variety of colors, and are very well made. They are also in genuine leather.I am going to go ahead and put them in my jewelry store under belts, even thought they are not exactly jewelry. They are definitely an accessory and definitely made in underprivileged countries. I say an outfit in vogue magazine where they put on all black, the yellow belt made in this print and a yellow blazer. It looked so fashionable and so "VOGUE"! There's no reason why we can't all look like we stepped out of vogue. I have no ideas what size has to do with it!
Below is orange murano glass and I really like it because they're showing so much orange in the clothing designs for spring. These bracelets are regularly 8" long and with the extensions go to 10".
Many of these earrings, such as the ones above are made using the backing as part of the design. I find the idea so cool, especially when the back is longer which you can see in some of the store examples. These designs come from the jungles of Africa where people don't have much to work with except for berries, wood and bone. They make these designs so they have something to wear and use what they can find. I would think it would take a long time to carve something like that. I have never learned to carve wood and wouldn't know the first thing about how to do it.
