But when I discovered ammonite, large natural fossils that are millions of years old! I changed my mind.
The handmade Peruvian Jewelry handmade Peruvian jewelry will always be some of my favorites. It was my very first find and I am amazed at the delicate workmanship involved in their jewelry making. I found some wonderful handcrafted beaded gemstone jewelry (Pictured Above) from the Ivory Coast and the very best Burma, Mogok untreated and natural jadeite directly from the mines of Mogok. They have many types of living gemstones that are untreated and the finest quality grading. I was impressed with this small family owned business because the live right by the mines and have been in the business their entire lives! I'm beginning to work with other artists in underprivileged communities from around the world and hope to help them get their handmade ethnic jewelry into my store. I believe this to be a good way to somewhat help these communities. I'll keep you updated on my progress.
